Good to see that you are happy with your ROCKI @jaubry!

I have to say, you just blew my mind. I had never even thought of hooking earplugs to ROCKI. I've heard of people hooking up an old record player but earplugs... I feel stupid i never thought of it!

I had two goals when I purchased my Rocki: 1) stream music from my Mac Mini located in my home office to our older stereo located in the living room and 2) stream music/audiobooks to my ears or portable speakers when I'm out tending the garden. Bluetooth simply would not work due the distances involved but with two wireless access points in the house I've got wi-fi to spare which means I can stream music to almost every corner of the yard! I'm a very happy camper!

Communication has been taken care of. From now on, that shouldn't be an issue anymore.

As for the apps, it is an ongoing process. Thanks to the feedback from the community we have managed to roll out some improvements and we'll soon be launching an update for the Rocki Android App.

Point taken about the sockets being too close to each other. I will definitely feed that back to our product design guys! Thanks for that!

Improve the ROCKI?

1. Fire the management team.
2. Get a proper Team Manager/Project leader.
3. Have someone read a book on 'Customer Support/Customer Care.
4. Employ someone to actually communicate with customers.
5. Re start the ROCKI apps from scratch.
6. Design the ROCKI to have a more sensible case for a domestic setting that also allows proper decent cables to be used. The sockets are currently too close together.

Using a high quality cable means you cant plug a USB cable in to charge at the same time. Plus it would be better to have a proper on/off switch and to be able to charge it without having to have it switched on. The rubber cases make the single LED light next to useless.

The current design just look stupid after a while and has quite a few shortcomings.

Whether you'll survive long enough to bring out a MK2 is another matter however.

Hey @doctorno, we're very sorry about the iOS app delay! For the moment, the app is going through Apple's approval process so we have no control over how long that will take. We're hoping just as you that we'll soon have good news! Hang on tight!
