Hey newtdanc what brand of router are you using? I tried changing several settings on my router but nothing helps.

I too have the same issue where the app crashes as soon as I try to load it. If my wifi on the iphone is turned off the app loads fine. Once wifi is switched on, it crashes on start every time.

Great to have the APP on my iPhone 5, it works with my D-Link router as I play music from Windows PC by media player, but the difference is it will lost second while streaming music every few seconds, so the music quality become poor and weird, I don't know why? Do anyone have same experience?

The development of shared playlists is on its way. For now, you can only play and see playlists from the device they were created on. But rest assured this feature will roll out eventually!

How do you see yourself using the shared playlists? When throwing a house party, at a BBQ, with your family...? Let us know!

Good to hear that @mikebianchini! Rocking iOS 8 already? Nice!

As for the shuffle button, i'm not near an iOS device right now but i would be very surprised if they didn't included that feature in the app. Could you play any song in the iOS app? This will bring up a control panel from the bottom. On the left, a little gear will be visible and when you click on that, you should be able to toggle shuffle and repeat. Is this the case?

Works great in iOS 8 beta 3.

Definitely need a shuffle all songs mode. That's the only thing stopping me from using it.

Hi all,

I just installed the New iOS App and tried to edit a playlist with two different iphones, but the created playlist can only be seen from the iphone that created it. What do I do wrong?

Hi @Baltik!

Good question! For now, it is not possible to use hotspot mode and your 3G connection at the same time but we are exploring ways to see if it can be made possible in the future using technology such as Wi-Fi direct.

So currently, Hotspot mode can only play local files from your device. We've often heard this question and it is high on our priority list.

We'd like to hear from others how they use their ROCKI in their car!

I am using my Rocki in hotspot mode in my car and play to it via airplay.

However if I want to stream Pandora my iphone can't connect since it is connected to Rocki via WiFi and thus can't receive any data...

any ideas?

I got it working with this app! Spotify also works, although you can't control it through the Rocki App. Looks like the IPad recognizes the Rocki as just a different speaker option, so I can play audio for other websites as well. I'm sure things will improve, but this is a big step forward (at least for me). Thanks!!!

Thank you for letting us know about that bug! We'll look into it!

Our developers are constantly working to improve both the ROCKI apps and the firmware to avoid these kind of situation. We will soon be releasing a new firmware version which will bring more stability and a few new feature. More news will be posted through our channels in the coming weeks!

I've noticed a similar problem with our iphone 5. if it's connected via airplay and then i turn off wi-fi on the phone, the rocki doesn't recover. if i turn wi-fi back on, reconnect with airplay it won't stream music and the music app gives up after a few seconds. i try connecting with my android phone and it also fails (bubbleUPnP gives a 501 error). i have to reboot the rocki and then things work again. somehow the rocki can't recover from the loss of the iphone's wi-fi connection. i got this to repeat a couple times once i figured that out. it seems like that kind of random error recovery should be hammered on as part of your quality department's test plan. i hope the robustness improves in the device. with airplay on the iphone i don't care about a rocki app and on android i can use bubbleUPnP until the rocki app improves. please put your efforts towards making the rocki firmware solid. i don't want to be rebooting the rocki during a party.

Hi @Zandman! Frankly, we haven't gone down the cloud storage path yet but if we see there is a big interest for it, we will definitely look in to it. We've noted it down and will discuss it! Thanks for the idea!

Got it working on my ipad4
Got no music stored on iPad though.

Any chance playback from icloud (iTunes match) will be implemented in the app?

For now I continue to use ios native music player with airplay.
