Guys, I just posted this in the announcement thread about a Mid July release. I felt I needed to post it here as well.

Simon,

We are getting close to the "Mid July" mark. Can you please tell us if the Rocki Play + will be ready????!!!!!

If I had the ability to help I would. I keep thinking that this will happen..... Just today you updated the community about an app for iOS.

What about the people who backed you on Kickstarter? I realize you want to get an app to work for the ones who have a rocki, but come on! The ones who put faith in you to turn out a cutting edge product that was to have been in final production once the campaign was completed have been ignored and disregarded for almost a year!!

Please, Please, Please give us some sort of update............

If the rocki play+ is capable for powering up the receiver via hdmi-cec then i will no longer have the desire to purchase additional sonos connect amps for my whole home audio setup.

I guess that control over HDMI is not really within the philosophy of Rocki but that's not up to me to decide. More importantly will it support HDMI-CEC and will therefore power up my receiver automatically. Because that would be awesome!

Many of you have been asking about the Rocki Play+. As you might know, the Play+ is an idea that grew from your feedback during the Kickstarter campaign. Currently we are experiencing some delay in the production process due to the debugging of the hardware. Next week, we will be demoing the Rocki Play+ for the very first time during CE Week in New York and are expecting to be able to ship out the first batches of the Play+ around mid/end-July.

Unfortunately we have been running into some delays due to the debugging of the hardware. Next week we will be demoing the Play+ at CE Week in New York and are expecting to be able to ship the Play+ out around mid July. Hang on tight, the wait is almost over!

Hey @ewong and @water500!

I couldn't agree with you more that communication hasn't been our strongest point during the past months. From now on, a team of Rocki Staff and Mods will be active on the forums daily to answer all questions and help out where possible.

To get back to the launch date of the Play+, we are currently debugging the hardware and will be demoing the Play+ at CE Week in New York next week. The final version of the Play+ should be hitting the shelves mid July! Hang on tight!

Hey @EOppie! We are currently debugging the hardware of the Play+ and experienced some delays due to that. The new time frame for the Play+ to be available is around mid July.

I saw some of the hardware yesterday during a meeting and it's looking promising. I will be posting some pics soon in a new thread!
